Cork base
A solid, grippy base that stays put on any floor. Naturally antibacterial, and harvested without cutting down a single tree.
Most cushions just add padding. The Lotus Seat gently tips you forward, so your back straightens on its own — and stays comfortable long after a normal cushion would have you shifting around.

01 — The problem
It’s your body. And a softer cushion doesn’t fix any of it — because the real problem isn’t padding, it’s posture.
A flat cushion lets your hips roll backward. Your spine curves, your shoulders round, and holding yourself up becomes work.
All your weight presses onto one small spot. After a while, it’s the only thing you can feel.
Poor support squeezes the blood flow in your legs, and your feet start to fall asleep within minutes.
So you fidget and re-adjust to find a bearable position — and every time, your focus goes with it.
02 — The solution
You shouldn’t have to concentrate on sitting up straight. The Lotus Seat does the work, so all that’s left is the practice.
The whole seat leans forward by 8°. That small angle rolls your hips into the right spot, so your back stacks up straight — you don’t have to hold it there.
Firm, springy latex supports your weight without letting you sink. You stay upright the whole sit, not just the first few minutes.
A soft dip down the middle keeps your tailbone from pressing into the seat — the one spot that usually starts to ache first.

The difference you can see
Nothing about the person changes between these two — only what they’re sitting on.
Hips roll back. The spine curves into a C, and the head drifts out in front of the body.
Hips tip forward. The spine stacks up straight, and the head sits balanced right over the body.
03 — The design
Three layers, each doing one job. Together they hold you in a posture that would otherwise take real effort to keep.
The seat leans forward 8°, so your hips do the right thing on their own — no propping, no folded blankets.
Natural latex pushes back and keeps its shape. Memory foam lets you sink in and slump; latex holds you up and breathes.
A shaped dip down the middle keeps the pressure off the spot that usually aches first.

REFERENCEFAQ
A normal cushion just adds padding under you. The Lotus Seat is shaped to tilt you forward by 8°, which rolls your hips into the right position so your back straightens on its own. Better posture is what makes it comfortable — not softness.
Memory foam lets you sink in, so your posture collapses and it traps heat. Natural latex is springy — it pushes back evenly, holds you up without going flat, and breathes far better. For sitting still for a long time, latex is the better choice.
Any cross-legged seat — easy pose, Burmese, half lotus and full lotus all work well, and it suits mindfulness, breathwork and Vipassana-style sitting. It isn’t made for kneeling (seiza); a kneeling bench is the right tool for that.
Especially so. A lot of people give up early simply because sitting hurts. By taking care of your posture for you, the seat makes sitting easier from day one, so you can build the habit before your body has fully adapted.
It depends on you, but the seat is built to stretch comfortable sitting well past a normal cushion. Many people find 30 to 60 minutes comfortable from early on, and notice the difference straight away.
The cover unzips and goes in the machine on a gentle cool wash — lay it flat to dry. Wipe the cork base and latex clean rather than soaking them, and keep the seat out of long spells of direct sun.
